ANGER MANAGEMENT

The Domestic Outreach Center’s Anger Management program is designed for those who have come to the understanding that their anger is standing in the way of their own well being. It may be hurting the people close to them, and it is certainly taking a toll on themselves.

The DOC classes are psycho-educational group therapy sessions which put you in a comfortable environment with other people dealing with the same issues.

DOMESTIC ABUSE

The Domestic Outreach Center Domestic Abuse program is designed to help improve personal relationships. Many people feel overwhelmed by the amount of stress and lack of time in their lives. Often
time, when this occurs, we take our frustration and aggression out on our loved ones, including our
significant others and children.

We know this behavior is unacceptable, but if we are unaware of, or unable to channel our feelings toward positive outcomes these feelings can destroy relationships. The DOC classes provide psycho-educational group therapy to people facing these issues.

RETAIL THEFT PROGRAM

The Retail Theft Education Program, which is a division of The Domestic Outreach Center (DOC), believes that education is a key component to successfully minimizing the occurrence of retail theft in our community.

The purpose of The Retail Theft Program is to effectively reduce retail theft by using cost effective group classes. The methodology is psycho-educational and our curriculum is two-fold. We first teach awareness of the legal aspects and many negative ramifications retail theft has on the local economy. The second part includes the behavior modification component in which we stress the importance of accepting behavior for oneself and being held accountable for one’s actions.
